Top 3 Flower Trends For 2015 From Passion for Flowers

Passion for Flowers talk us through their top three wedding flower trends for 2015. If you are getting married in 2015 now is a good time to start collecting ideas about your flowers, start a pinterest board or keep a traditional wedding scrap book. Collect ideas for the colours and styles you like as well as things you don’t like, this will help your florist get a better understanding of what you are looking for. Your florist will be able to tell you if the flowers you have chosen are in season and if not they will be able to advise something similar. If you think you have no idea about flowers, you will be surprised how quickly your ideas start forming after browsing a few wedding magazines and blogs for inspiration.

Top 3 Flower Trends For 2015 From Passion for Flowers

1. Enter the ceremony in style.
For outdoor summer weddings we predict a trend towards brides entering the ceremony through a doorway decorated with a  garland. Old wooden doors remain shut in the lead up to the ceremony and open as the bride walks through them.

2. Flower crowns.
In recent months we have seen an increase in brides wearing beautiful floral crowns and predict it will continue into 2015. Depending on their overall wedding style these can be made from pretty delicate flowers or a fuller crown of roses and hydrangeas.

3. Hanging flowers.
If your venue has lovely grounds choose a statement tree and have bottles hanging from branches filled with pretty blooms. These can make a wonderful backdrop for photos or you could use the whole tree as an alternative wedding guest book asking guests to write their messages on luggage tags and to tie them to the hanging bottles.
