Birmingham photographer looks back on 2,500 weddings
A photographer in Birmingham has revealed how he will be taking his 2,500th wedding album later this month.
David Wadley told the Birmingham Mail that in over three decades of photographing weddings, no two big days have ever been the same.
He claimed that he has never been at a ceremony which went wrong and that with thousands of weddings under his belt, he still loves his job.
"I've been to everything from huge Greek weddings with more than 1,000 guests to punk-themed ceremonies where the bride and groom have dressed in tartan and ripped jeans with pink spiky hair," he said.
Mr Wadley added that he has photographed a James Bond-style wedding and ceremonies where everybody wore medieval costumes.
His 2,500th wedding will take place on July 31st, when 54-year-old Lyn Taylor-Green marries her 56-year-old fiance John Ellis in Wishaw.
Marcy Blum, a New York-based wedding expert, recently told NY1 News that couples should always employ a professional photographer for their big day.
