Brides and grooms strip off for wedding comp
Three brave couples have stripped off for television in their bid to win a dream wedding, reports the Mail on Sunday.
As part of the final stages of the Battle of the Brides competition, Mark Baggett and Sadie Whitelock, Danny Duggan and Caroline Clark and Kirk Elba and Emma Kingshott removed all their clothes to be covered in body paint live on television.
Makeup artists painted unusual wedding dress and groom outfits onto their nude bodies, which certainly caught the attention of passers by in London's Covent Garden, the newspaper notes.
Caroline, 24, remarked: "I hope we win. It was great fun being painted. I thought Danny looked particularly good in his military-style outfit. It was very intricate."
The winning couple, which will be announced in two weeks, will marry live on television at a Herefordshire castle. The bride wins a bespoke designer wedding dress and professional hair and makeup treatments.
GMTV is also throwing in a two-week honeymoon in the Caribbean and wedding photography by OK! magazine.
Jenni Falconer, who presents the competition, recently told the Manchester Evening News that despite posing in a bridal gown for the accompanying adverts her actor boyfriend, James Midgley, has told her not to get any ideas.
