Brides-to-be "know exactly what they want"
The majority of British women are getting their wedding ideas from celebrities, a survey by Norwich Union has found.
Reported by Channel 4, the research also revealed that 85 per cent of ladies are basing their big day on a celebrity's and that one in five are planning their big day before they have even got engaged.
Zoe Lingard, a celebrity wedding planner, explained that, for women, the fairytale, dream wedding is often a reality.
"Girls today know exactly what they want, down to the last detail, and have usually pored over magazine spreads, of the Wags' weddings in particular," she said.
Nearly half (46 per cent) intend to buy a designer dress to walk down the aisle and 27 per cent said they are going to employ the help of an expert wedding planner.
Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney are to host their wedding reception on a three-storey yacht, an insider told the Daily Mirror.
