De Niro is best man for son

Hollywood star Robert De Niro has played the role of best man at his son's recent nuptials.

Raphael De Niro married Claudine Dominque DeMatos in a private ceremony in Bahamas over the weekend.

Entertainment was provided by a Bahamian band, while the guests ate lobster and steak and smoked cigars.

After a brief speech by the Rocky actor fireworks were launched and guests celebrated on the beach until 04.00 local time.

Among the 200 guests were Raphael's mother, actress Diahnne Abbott-Copeland, actor Harvey Keitel and Ron Burkle.

Meanwhile, TV presenter Ulrika Johnson tied the knot with advertising executive Brian Monet in a small ceremony on Saturday.

She told Hello magazine: "We were both dying to get married. It was my idea of a dream wedding. We wanted a low-key event - just 14 guests plus the children."

The bride wore an ivory Grecian-style dress and her daughters Bo and Martha donned matching outfits.
