Disney workers find wedding ring
A US couple's wedding rings have been returned to them, thanks to a little Disney magic.
Karen Campanale of Massachusetts feared that her platinum and diamond wedding, engagement and five-year-anniversary bands were lost forever after her husband Paul threw away the box they were stored in when preparing to return home from a holiday in Walt Disney World.
Park employees warned the couple that recovering the rings would be difficult and so they set off home.
However, the resort's executive housekeeper was able to rescue the rings when he realised that the couple's rubbish wouldn't have reached the industrial compactor.
Seven staff members joined him in searching through the bags of rubbish until the rings were found.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the US a wedding ring has been found after it was accidentally flushed down the toilet.
Kris Alexander's band was located by public works employees who recovered it from Perinton's sewerage system.
