Football fan designs Newcastle shirt wedding dress
A football fan created a wedding dress made from torn pieces of Newcastle United shirts, in protest against the recent departure of the team's former manager Kevin Keegan, reports reveal.
Fashion designer Angy Morton will unveil the unique wedding dress on a catwalk in Cumbria next month, taking the concept of self-expression through fashion to another level.
"Newcastle United fans have a real love-hate relationship with their team at the moment. So I thought tearing up the shirts and turning them into a wedding dress was a good way to express how we feel," she told the BBC.
"Many fans are finding it difficult to wear their shirts with pride with the way things are going at the moment, but ultimately there's no escape because they are really married to football and the team."
Meanwhile, footballer's wife Heather Swan reportedly plans to reunite with estranged husband Michael Chopra after hitting a rocky patch weeks after their lavish wedding in June.
