Geri Halliwell to wed?

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is reportedly planning to wed.

According to the Daily Star, the songstress-turned-children's author is planning to marry her backing dancer boyfriend Ivan Velez.

"Geri has a huge diamond and an even bigger grin on her face now that she and Ivan are marrying," a source told the publication.

"It's been a whirlwind affair but when you know, you know and she doesn't care if she's criticised for being hasty."

They added that Ivan is close to Geri's 23-month-old daughter Bluebell and that has what has prompted her to make such a commitment.

Geri and Ivan, who is known as Flipz due to his dancing skills, met during the Spice Girls reunion tour.

Previously it was reported that Geri is considering adopting another chid so that Bluebell can have a little brother or sister.

She told Bang Media International that she has always felt she the capacity to love a child that she is not blood related to.
