Hollywood wedding dress is up for auction
Brides-to-be will soon have the opportunity to win the wedding dress featured in the hit Hollywood film Penelope.
The Gwen Russell design worn by Christina Ricci in the movie, which also stars Reese Witherspoon and James McAvoy, has been donated to Scotland's Real Radio as part of its annual fundraising event.
People will be able to bid on the one-off creation at the radio station's charity auction on March 6th.
Ms Russell, who has created costumes for Helena Bonham-Carter, Nicole Kidman and Joan Collins, said that she was "thrilled" to take part in the event.
Meanwhile, in other wedding dress news, a report from Mintel has shown that the "dream of a fairytale wedding is alive and well" among British women.
It added that while there has been a decline in the number of religious ceremonies this has been offset by the increasing use of country homes and castles- which allow brides to live out their romantic fantasies.
