Jerry Hall's wedding dress 'under the hammer'

Jerry Hall's wedding dress is expected to make about £400 at auction today (June 10th), reported the Daily Mail.

The ex-wife of Mick Jagger has put up the lace gown as part of a charity auction for homelessness charity Emmaus.

Auctioneer Kerry Thomas told the newspaper that Hall's move could prompt other celebrities to clear out their wardrobes and auction off their wedding dresses.

"We have had people calling from museums and collections but also just women who want a gorgeous dress to wear," she said. "And even a man who drove up from south Wales because he wanted to buy a Jerry Hall dress for his wife."

Hall wore the Anthony Price gown when she tied the knot in a Hindu ceremony in Bali in 1990.

The model said it felt very "cathartic" to be letting go of the dress from her former marriage, which ended in 1999.

Jagger and Hall have four children together - Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel.
