Maternity bridal gowns hit London
The Toronto-based specialist in designing maternity wedding gowns, Sarah Houston, has announced that her dresses will be available in London.
A bridal store called the Expectant Bride in the capital is to carry the specialist dresses from the world-famous designer.
Approximately 20 per cent of women are pregnant when they marry and over 50 per cent live with their partners.
Ms Houston said: "The UK is a very important market to us and I wish to congratulate our newest store (Expectant Bride) for their vision and commitment to excellence in serving the needs of this unique segment of the bridal industry."
The owner of Expectant Bride, Tracey Wilkinson, said that she was "absolutely delighted" with how fast the Sarah Houston collection is being snapped up.
Later this year the Sarah Houston 2008 line, dubbed Retours de Romance, is to become available.
Meanwhile, famous wedding dress designer Samantha Shaw has opened her own boutique in Chelsea, the Telegraph has reported.
