Ryan, Scarlet returned to nature with Canadian wedding venue

Celebrity newlywed Ryan Reynolds recently revealed that he managed to make the most of his remote wedding venue in Canada last weekend.

The 31-year-old actor tied the knot with Hollywood beauty Scarlett Johansson on Saturday at the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort near Vancouver, reports claim.

A source commented: "Ryan went salmon and halibut fishing while other guests went horseback riding and mountain biking before the wedding.

"There were only about 40 people present for the service - Scarlett wanted a ceremony with just family and a few select friends."

In a recent interview, Ryan expressed plans to start a family with his 23-year-old bride, saying: "I feel like I need to fulfil the genetic paradigm, the destiny of it. It definitely appeals to me."

The couple announced their engagement back in May, fuelling months of media speculation about their wedding plans.

Ryan previously dated singer Alanis Morissette and was engaged for two years before their split in 2006.
