Virgin Galactic plan out of this world wedding

Entrepreneur Richard Branson is aiming to offer couples the chance to marry 70 miles above the earth, it has been reported.

The founder of Virgin Galactic is hoping to offer the company's first sub-orbital flight in 2009, according to the Mail on Sunday.

Speaking to the newspaper, a spokesman for the firm said: "We have had two bookings involving marriage, one to get married in space and the other for the couple to have their honeymoon in space."

The ceremony may also be officiated by Branson, who according to the Mail was ordained for one day by an online church to marry Dimitrios Papadognonas and Coco Jones while on a Virgin flight.
