Wedding "worries and stresses"

Planning a wedding can be a "highly stressful time", it has been claimed.

Kelly Spink of The Wedding Village in Rayleigh recommended that couples designate one night a week to discuss the plans and try to have fun together the rest of the time.

Speaking to the Essex Echo, she advised people not to worry about small things and let family and friends help in the organisations.

"For the actual day itself, you may find it beneficial to enlist the help of a professional wedding manager, who can ensure all of your worries and stresses are theirs and not yours on the day," she said.

Ms Spink added that budgeting for a wedding can become difficult when "little things" need to be added on to the cost.

Shop around for the best deal on things, she said, while keeping a record of everything that has been paid for.

A survey by Norwich Union found that 27 per cent of women plan to hire a professional wedding planner for their big day, reported Channel 4. ADNFCR-1185-ID-18634318-ADNFCR
