Music augments atmospheres and that’s why we have seen a lot of people asking for acoustic and acapella acts to perform during their ceremony, at their drinks reception or during dinner. This type of music melts into the surroundings, still leaving people free to have a conversation or focus on their meal. Classical guitars, pianists, duos with vocals and string quartets are really good for this type of entertainment.
A twist on this trend is serenading musicians that move around and entertain small groups or tables at time.

The Untraditional Traditional Function Band
A few years ago the traditional party and function band started to lose some of its shine, and was labelled cheesy. Nowadays many couples will book one type of entertainment for their drinks reception or dinner, followed by a band for the first two hours of dancing, before a DJ set rounds off the night.
