Hope Mill is extremely popular and gets booked up quickly for weddings so my advice is to get there and view as soon as you can and if you like it book on the day. The interior has been decorated by the owners Joe and Will who have sourced many of the pieces themselves which gives this venue real character. Part theatre, part café they hire the whole space for wedding and events.
The Historic
Newly renovated, this building may become one of the most popular wedding venues in the coming years. The 1920’s décor has remained leaving a beautiful sweeping staircase perfect for styled wedding day photos.

This is venue can only be described as jaw-droppingly magical. Weddings take place in the “Great Nave” which has a Grade II listed status (which is awarded to just 6% of listed buildings in the country!). I dare you to visit and not be blown away.
The Quirky
Weddings by The University of Manchester
Want to get married with the Dinosaurs or in the Living World? Well now you can and you don’t have to go all the way to London for the pleasure. It does not get much quirkier than this.

It’s hip, it’s retro and has an interior to match. If you’re looking to marry and hold your reception here and have the mother-of-all parties book this now. Part of the TROF group it known as one of the coolest venues in town!
The Hotel
This group of hotels could not be missed off. Particularly, Great John Street and King Street Town House. These are popular venues to be married in within Manchester; they offer intimacy and exclusivity and this is definitely important when getting married in the city. There is a price to be paid but for that special day you have to decide are you worth it?

Newly refurbished, this hotel has been re-branded as one of the coolest venues in Manchester. Hosting a super cool bar called The Refuge, the interior has kept the historic look of the building and updated it into a new urban space down to the brickwork, décor and lighting.
A stalwart in Manchester hotel weddings. Having experienced a friend’s wedding here and various afternoon teas, I have always been extremely impressed. This beautifully decorated hotel in the heart of Manchester is a luxurious option for those looking to add a little extravagance to their day.

Secret Spaces
Based in Castlefield, opposite the canal, this is a beautiful part of the city where many a photo shoot has taken place. The quirky cottage can be exclusively yours for the big day but if you are looking for a smaller reception you can choose between their humble canal side Lounge and Terrace or opt for the Victorian grandeur of the Attic and Study, either way they have a package that will suit.
One for the hip and trendy this would be a great venue to hold a wedding house party, that is the best way to describe it. It has been kitted out to look like a home from home and you can hire the whole space for a reasonable price in the heart of the Northern Quarter. One to look at if this is you want to party like its 1999.
