Select your style

Lots of details

Hello and welcome back. Let us focus on the process needed to plan the perfect Wedding. There are lots of details to remember, but we can do it together.
Congratulations to you both and now, let’s plan the celebration you both deserve.

Your Wedding Style

First select your style. Are you vintage, shabby chic, elegant, boho, eco, traditionalist? The list can carry on. I have lots of discussions with my clients and we always have lots of fun deciding on this.
Do you want a traditional church service, want to marry abroad or have a civil ceremeony in a licensed premises?
If you choose a church service, your Banns (publication of your intention to marry) will be read out in church on the 3 consecutive Sundays before you marry. This is enjoyable to listen to if you attend the service.
Your local registry office can supply a list of venues that are licensed to carry out civil ceremonies. There are too many to list. Do you want to get married in a stately home, hotel, forest, garden, an Abbey etc… Choose something you both love and that reflects the style chosen.

Marry abroad?

If you want to marry abroad, consider the cost for your guests. This may reduce the amount that attend (this may be a a blessing!!).
The easiest option is to choose a whole package with a tour operator. Alternatively, contact the tourist information office for your chosen country and they will advise. Each country is different, please check the legalities.
I hope this was useful, next week we will focus on flowers.
